UPDATE!
A suspect has been arrested in connection with Monday's string of 7-Eleven robberies and shootings -- including two killings, according to the Orange County District Attorney's Office. No details have been released, but Orange County District Attorney Todd Spitzer and local law enforcement officials are planning a 5 p.m. news conference.
Make sure you're listening to the John and Ken Show on KFI at 5 PM to hear that news conference.
Police are looking for a suspect who shot and killed two people, and left three others injured after robbing a 7-Eleven.
The suspect is described as a Black man, 35 to 30 years old, about 5'7 to 5'10, and weighing about 160 to 180 pounds. He was wearing a black sweatshirt, dark jeans and a black mask.
He is suspected to be the same person who robbed other 7-Eleven locations on Monday -- including stores in Brea, La Habra, Santa Ana, Riverside, Ontario and Upland.
“Our hearts remain with the victims and their loved ones, and our focus continues to be on Franchisee, associate and customer safety,” 7-Eleven wrote in a statement.
7-Eleven Inc. is offering a $100,000 reward to anyone who has any more information about the suspect.
