A wealthy couple was arrested for murdering and barbecuing their French nanny, after neighbors complained of a weird smell.
The cops found her scorched body in the backyard of the couple's fancy house, according to reports. 34-year-old French-Algerian designer and makeup artist Sabrina Quider and 40-year-old boyfriend Ouissem Medoun were busted in London on Friday for killing 21-year-old Sophie Lionnet.
Police found Lionnet's body outside of the residence after neighbors spotted a big fire. One neighbor said:
"My young son called out, ‘If you are having a barbecue, are we allowed to come?' I told him, ‘no that’s not a barbecue, that’s a bad smell.’ I thought they may be burning leaves.”
Lionnet's body was so badly burned that cops couldn't tell at first if it was a man or woman. She had been living with the family for a little over a year, caring for the couple's 3-year-old daughter and 6-year-old son.
The nanny was apparently miserable and had been scheduled to return home Monday. She never arrived.
