The West Hollywood Sheriff's station has released brutal footage of a homeless man attacking another man outside of a 7-Eleven.
The attacker has been identified as 41-year-old Kisu Brady Brown, who has a history of arrests for violent crimes and has spent time in jail.
Brown attacked early in the morning on September 2 and took off right after. He got into an argument as he and the victim were leaving the store.
Sgt. Jeff Bishop described what happened:
"For a real quick second, the suspect walks away. He’s still in the view of the camera. He then turns around and comes back and continues to chop at the victim's face while (the victim is) lying on the ground — before he flees."
The victim was taken to the hospital and treated for his injuries.
