(Gabriel Armenta - Placerville Police Department)
A registered sex offender was arrested after he exposed himself to a mother and her 18-month-old daughter last week at the Placerville Library.
Around 10:00 a.m., Gabriel Armenta started talking to the mother and her daughter, and then he exposed himself. Police found him inside of the library, arrested him, and charged him with indecent exposure.
Armenta was booked into the El Dorado County Jail on $275,000 bail. He's a registered sex offender within the city of Placerville, and had a prior conviction for the same offense.
Because of his prior conviction, Armenta is looking at a felony charge in connection with his latest exposure.
