From March to Raise Awareness of Criminal Panhandling in the West SVF:
"A coalition of concerned citizens from the West San Fernando Valley are planning a march through key locations in Woodland Hills to raise awareness with residents, businesses and elected officials to the threat and impact that the criminal transients have on our community. This march will take place in conjunction with the National Night Out on Tuesday, August 1, 2017.
Participants are asked to meet on Ventura Boulevard at DeSoto Avenue at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, August 1. The march will begin at 6:00 p.m. It will move west down Ventura Boulevard, pausing at each off-ramp of the 101 between DeSoto Avenue and Topanga Canyon Boulevard, and ending at the Gateway Plaza at Ventura Boulevard and Topanga Canyon Boulevard..."
