Breaking news tonight from the Los Angeles County Emergency Operations Center as repopulation orders were issued for portions of the cities of Agoura Hills and Westlake Village.

The LA County Sheriff's Department tweeted out the news this evening to thousands of eager fire-worn West LA County residents who have been waiting for days to find out if they even have homes to return to.

The Los Angeles County-sides of Agoura Hills and Westlake Village were re-opened at 9 PM.  This effort was assisted by the simultaneous reopening of a large stretch of the North-bound 101 freeway from Woodland Hills westward to Westlake Village.

The South-bound side of the freeway remained closed until 10PM, though many of its off-ramps remain shuttered.

As of now, the following exits are now open:

  1. Cheseboro Road
  2. Kanan Road
  3. Reyes Adobe Road
  4. Lindero Canyon
