It seems like we cannot go a week without hearing of another mass shooting. Culturally, it has almost become an acceptable part of life in our country. Since this won't be the last of these tragedies, it's important to learn how to help our kids cope with their feelings about it. Licensed MFT Jeanette Sandoval joined Sunday Morning with Elizabeth Espinosa to discuss school shootings, and mental health.
"A lot of times, there is this stigma around talking about emotions in families," said Sandoval, "so removing that veil, and letting parents know that it's really healthy to engage your kids around these topics."
