14th Annual - Ratopia Surf Classic 2018
The Ratopia Surf Classic, established in 2005 was created after a 22 year old local surfer Denny Bales was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma. It has grown exponentially since. The event is aimed to raise awareness and funds for for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. But that's the business side of the event, the fun side is chock-a-block with surfing competitions for the aficionado and hard core surfer. Whether you are a long board, short board, body boarder, there is plenty to see and do. Let's say that surfing isn't your bag, a pie eating contest is also scheduled along with a costume surf contest. Varying activities are geared for all ages and up.
Wax up your board and shoot the curl this weekend!
