Back To Back Black Valedictorians At Diamond Ranch High School

Diamond Ranch High School, home of the Panthers opened in 1997. It's first graduating class was in 2001. Eighteen years later, the class of 2019 had three Valedictorians, all with the same grade point average. This honor went to Katelyn Su, Matthew Bolbolian and Venus Hagan. Venus, who is African American made Diamond Ranch history as the first African American Valedictorian! Hard to imagine the story getting better than that, however, black representation at the school is garnering high GPA's and has continued to stay at the top this year in 2020 with Amara Henry earning an overall GPA of 4.96! In the school's history, Diamond Ranch High School has back to back black Valedictorian's! Amara will be attending UCLA in the fall and plans to major in Political Science to become a lawyer.
