Generous Little Boy Gets Free Trip To Disney World!

Last week I told you about Jermaine Bell and what a wonderful, giving little boy he is.

Jermaine turned 7 on September 8th, and had been saving up to celebrate that birthday for a trip with his family to Disney World's Animal Kingdom Theme Park in Florida.

But then Hurricane Dorian made it's way to the southeast. When Jermaine heard that evacuees from coastal South Carolina would be making their way through his neighborhood, he wanted to help, so he took all the money he saved and bought hundreds of hot dogs, chips and water and cooked them up and stood along Highway 125 with his family and two hand made signs offering them to evacuees traveling by. He told WJBF News:

"The people that are traveling to go to places, I wanted them to have some food to eat, so they can enjoy the ride to the place that they're going to stay at."

When asked why he decided to do this, Jermaine said:

"I wanted to be generous and live to give."

And he wasn't just feeding them, but offering something else....comfort. Jermaine's grandmother said that while she was helping him pass out food, Jermaine said to several families, "Want me to pray for you?" She said he prayed with many families over the course of a few days.

Hundreds of people were the recipient of Jermaine's hospitality, and we and so many others tried to draw as much attention to the story as we could to see if we could get Disney to step up.

Well, step up they did!

Yesterday, Mickey Mouse himself, along with other Disney employees stopped by his home with Good Morning America to surprise him with a free, all expenses paid trip for Jermaine and his family to Disney World!

The family is now planning their getaway to celebrate not only Jermaine's birthday, but to celebrate the generous nature of this little boy.

As for Jermaine, he says it pays to help people, telling CNN:

"Be strong, and if you do good things, you will be rewarded."
