In 2004, Rolling Stone published one of the most widely read, and most criticized stories in the history of the magazine…Its list of the 500 Greatest Songs of All Time.

Now, 17 years later Rolling Stone has completely remade it's list to better reflect a wider array of music including early rock and soul, hip-hop, modern country, indie rock, Latin pop, reggae, and R&B.
