Teen Shot To Death, Six Wounded at Woodland Hills House Party

WOODLAND HILLS (CNS) - A 16-year-old boy killed in a shooting outside a Woodland Hills house party that left six others wounded was identified Monday.

The shooting occurred about 1:30 a.m. Sunday in the 5900 block Winnetka Avenue, a couple of blocks north of the Ventura (101) Freeway, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

Police said the suspect had been arguing with several people inside the house and, as security escorted him out,  he fired off several shots into a crowd outside the house before fleeing.

The so-called "flyer party" was attended by as many as 300 people, according to the Los Angeles Daily News.

The Medical Examiner's Office identified the 16-year-old boy as Sah- Dell Roberts, who was found in the driveway and pronounced dead at the scene.

Paramedics rushed the wounded victims to a hospital with non-life- threatening injuries.

Police have not released a description of the suspect.
