Relative Arrested in Connection With Death of San Juan Capistrano Woman

SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO (CNS) - A man has been arrested in connection with the stabbing death of a woman in San Juan Capistrano, who may be related to her, authorities said Sunday.

Deputies dispatched about 6:30 p.m. Saturday regarding an assault in the 32000 block of Valle Road, located a woman in her 50s suffering from multiple stab wounds, the Orange County Sheriff's Department reported.

Arriving paramedics pronounced the woman dead at the scene.

Based upon interviews conducted by investigators at the scene, as well as evidence, Josephe Jimenez Hernandez, 25, of San Juan Capistrano, was arrested on suspicion of murder.

There was no other immediate information.
