Small Plane Crashes in Temple City Neighborhood; No Injuries Reported

TEMPLE CITY (CNS) - Two people escaped injury Monday when their small plane crashed into bushes in a residential neighborhood of Temple City, authorities said.

The crash was reported at 7:58 a.m. in the 4800 block of Arden Drive, where both occupants were able to exit the aircraft on their own, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.

No one was transported to a hospital, and most fire department resources cleared the scene by 8:55 a.m., officials said.

The crash occurred about a mile from the El Monte Airport, according to reports from the scene.
