LOS ANGELES (CNS) - The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County is unchanged Thursday at $4.616, a day after rising two-tenths of a cent.
The average price is seven-tenths of a cent more than one week ago and 5.3 cents more than one month ago, but 94.1 cents less than one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service. It has dropped $1.878 since rising to a record $6.494 on Oct. 5, 2022.
The Orange County average price dropped one-tenth of a cent to $4.544, a day after rising seven-tenths of a cent. It is six-tenths of a cent more than one week ago and 6.1 cents more than one month ago, but 99.4 cents less than one year ago. The Orange County average price has dropped $1.915 since rising to a record $6.459 on Oct. 5, 2022.
The national average price dropped 1.1 cents to $3.242, a day after dropping eight-tenths of a cent and its 27th decrease in the past 28 days.
It is 6.6 cents less than one week ago, 20.1 cents less than one month ago and 59.4 cents less than one year ago. The national average price has dropped $1.774 since rising to a record $5.016 on June 14, 2022.
