LOS ANGELES (CNS) - The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County dropped Thursday nine-tenths of a cent to $4.611, a day after dropping 1.5 cents. It dropped 14 of the past 16 days.
The average price is 8.6 cents less than one week ago, 19 cents less than one month ago and 37.2 cents less than one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service. It has dropped $1.883 since rising to a record $6.494 on Oct. 5, 2022.
The Orange County average price rose one-tenth of a cent to $4.543, a day after dropping 1.5 cents.
It is 8 cents less than one week ago, 16.4 cents less than one month ago and 36.7 cents less than one year ago. It has dropped $1.916 since rising to a record $6.459 on Oct. 5, 2022.
The national average price rose eight-tenths of a cent to $3.521, a day after rising 1.1 cents.
It is 1.5 cents more than one week ago, 5.2 cents more than one month ago, and 11.5 cents less than one year ago. The national average price has dropped $1.495 since rising to a record $5.016 on June 14, 2022
