Gas Prices Continue to Fall in LA, Orange County

LOS ANGELES (CNS) - The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County dropped Wednesday 1.5 cents to $4.62, a day after dropping 1.9 cents. It dropped 13 of the past 15 days.

The average price is 9.8 cents less than one week ago, 17.3 cents less than one month ago and 35.5 cents less than one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service. It has dropped $1.874 since rising to a record $6.494 on Oct. 5, 2022.

The Orange County average price dropped 1.5 cents to $4.542, a day after dropping 2 cents.

It is 9.9 cents less than one week ago, 16.2 cents less than one month ago and 35.9 cents less than one year ago. It has dropped $1.917 since rising to a record $6.459 on Oct. 5, 2022.

The national average price rose 1.1 cents to $3.513, a day after rising one-tenth of a cent.

It is one-tenth of a cent more than one week ago, 6.4 cents more than one month ago, and 8.3 cents less than one year ago. The national average price has dropped $1.503 since rising to a record $5.016 on June 14, 2022.
