LOS ANGELES (CNS) - Powerball players missed out on the game's grand prize for the 35th consecutive drawing last night, pushing the estimated jackpot for Monday's drawing to $800 million.

A ticket matching five numbers but missing the Powerball number was sold at a 7-Eleven in Sun Valley and is worth $2,462,356, according to the Multi-State Lottery Association, which conducts the game.

That 7-Eleven is located at 12500 Roscoe Blvd. Other tickets matching five numbers were sold in Indiana, Texas, Washington and Florida.

The numbers drawn Saturday were 6, 23, 25, 34, 51 and the Powerball number was 3. The estimated jackpot was $758 million.

The odds of matching all five numbers and the Powerball number is 1 in 292.2 million, according to the Multi-State Lottery Association. The overall chance of winning a prize is 1 in 24.9.

The Powerball game is played in 45 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and U.S. Virgin Islands.

Californians will have a chance to win an even bigger jackpot on Tuesday, when a $1.1 billion grand prize is up for grabs in the multi-state Mega Millions game, the eighth-largest jackpot in U.S. lottery history.
