SANTA ANA (CNS) - A 20-year-old man was charged Wednesday with sexually assaulting two girls in Anaheim.
Leonardo Lopez was accused of assaulting one of the girls on Feb. 25 of last year and on Aug. 24, and attacking another girl on Aug. 24. He did not enter a plea Wednesday in the jail courtroom in Santa Ana and the arraignment was scheduled for April 17 at the North Justice Center in Fullerton.
Lopez was charged with a count of forcible lewd acts on a child, three counts of lewd or lascivious acts with a minor younger than 14, and single counts of assault of a minor with the intent to commit a sex offense, administering a drug, rape by use of a drugs, sexual penetration with an intoxicating substance used on a victim, oral copulation by anesthesia or a controlled substance, unlawful sexual intercourse with a minor who is three years younger than the perpetrator, sexual penetration by a foreign object of an underage victim, and oral copulation of an underage victim, all felonies.
Lopez was ordered held on $500,000 bail.
