TARZANA (CNS) - A man was found dead in an upscale neighborhood in Tarzana and police Friday said they are treating his death as a homicide.

Los Angeles Police Department officers from the West Valley Division were called at 12:30 a.m. to 3876 Winford Drive, south of the Braemar Country Club in a gated community regarding a person down, an LAPD spokesman told City News Service.

When they arrived, officers discovered the victim suffering from gunshot wounds.

Los Angeles Fire Department personnel were called and pronounced the man, who authorities said was approximately 30 years old, dead at the scene.

There was no suspect information.
