INDUSTRY (CNS) - A person was shot and wounded Thursday on the westbound Pomona (60) Freeway in the Industry area.
Officers were sent to the freeway near Crossroads Parkway about 6:10 a.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.
Paramedics took a person who had been shot to a hospital in unknown condition, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
A caller reported that their vehicle had been shot at, according to KTLA 5.
Video from the scene showed a vehicle pulled over the side of the freeway, along with several CHP patrol vehicles.
Westbound lanes of the freeway were closed during a police investigation.
