LOS ANGELES (CNS) - Seven suspects were arrested in connection with an illegal gambling operation in South Los Angeles, police said Tuesday.
Officers responded on Thursday to the 10000 block of South Main Street, near Century Boulevard, around 9 p.m. to execute a search warrant stemming from an anonymous tip involving gambling and narcotics activity, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
Several illegal gambling machines, narcotics and a firearm were recovered from the scene during the search, police said.
Detectives identified seven suspects involved in the operation as 42- year-old Rodney Marsall, 33-year-old Rumaldo Agustin, 48-year-old Nikita Smith, 34-year-old Milagro Rivas, 20-year-old Brandon Banks, 46-year-old Jermaine Pinson and 39-year-old Swerte Patterson.
All seven suspects are residents of Los Angeles and were booked on suspicion of felony warrants and being present at a gambling location.
