LA PUENTE (CNS) - A stabbing Monday at Nogales High School in La Puente left one male student injured and another in custody.
Deputies were sent to the campus in the 400 block of Nogales Street about 10 a.m., according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.
Paramedics took one person to a hospital, the Los Angeles County Fire Department reported.
According to the sheriff's department, the injury to the boy who was stabbed was classified as not life-threatening. Deputies detained the other boy, and the investigation was continuing.
Fox11 reported that one student stabbed the other in the abdomen with a kitchen knife.
