LOS ANGELES (CNS) - Authorities Monday continued their efforts to find a woman who tried to kidnap a 4-year-old boy at a Target store in Koreatown.
The attempted kidnapping occurred about 12:40 p.m. Sunday at the store at Next on Sixth Apartments at 620 S. Virgil Ave., between Sixth Street and Wilshire Boulevard, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
According to police, the woman grabbed the boy inside the business, took him outside, put him down when confronted by one of his parents, and then ran away.
The suspect was described as an approximately 40-year-old Black woman, about 5 feet, 5 inches tall and 150 pounds. She was wearing a brown jacket, black shirt, blue jeans and black-and-white shoes, police said.
