BELLFLOWER (CNS) - A 40-year-old woman was killed on the Artesia (91) Freeway Wednesday in Bellflower.
The fatality was reported at 1:45 a.m. Wednesday on the westbound freeway at Lakewood Boulevard, California Highway Patrol Officer Elizabeth Kravig told City News Service.
Kravig said the victim was possibly a pedestrian who was struck by a vehicle, but further details were not fully known.
The Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner later identified the woman as Danielle Lampers.
