Man Who Died in Altadena Fight Identified

ALTADENA (CNS) - A 53-year-old man who was killed in a fight with another man in Altadena was identified Tuesday by the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner.

Deputies responded around 3:10 p.m. Sunday to a call about a possible battery and medical rescue in the 2300 block of North Canyada Avenue, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.

Deputies found Steve Dixon unresponsive, and another man suffering from undisclosed injuries from an apparent physical altercation between the two of them, according to the sheriff's and Medical Examiner's departments.

The Los Angeles County Fire Department pronounced Dixon dead at the scene. The other man was taken to a hospital in unknown condition. It was unclear if he was arrested.
