Man, Woman Stabbed in Long Beach

LONG BEACH (CNS) - A man and a woman suffered non-life-threatening wounds during a stabbing attack in Long Beach, authorities said Saturday.

Officers dispatched at 11:36 p.m. Friday to the 3300 block of Pacific Place regarding a stabbing located a man and a woman with stab wounds to the upper body, the Long Beach Police Department reported.

The couple told officers they were walking in the 3400 block of Long Beach Boulevard and were approached by a man who stabbed them.

Officers went to that area and were unable to locate a crime scene. The suspect fled the location in an unknown direction and paramedics took the couple to a hospital for injuries that were not considered life-threatening, police said.
