LOS ANGELES (CNS) - Fire damaged a commercial building in Lincoln Heights Tuesday, but no one was hurt.
The fire was reported in a single-story building in the 2300 block of North Daly Street about 10:55 a.m., according to Nicholas Prange of the Los Angeles Fire Department.
"Crews made entry with hose lines, and extinguished the first-floor fire," Prange said in a statement. "Crews then discovered a mezzanine inside, which contained additional fire above. Ultimately, it took 88 firefighters 57 minutes to access, confine, and extinguish the flames."
The cause of the fire was under investigation.
