BOYLE HEIGHTS (CNS) - A motorcyclist was killed in a collision on a freeway transition road near Boyle Heights Saturday.
California Highway Patrol officers were called at approximately 1:11 a.m. to the transition road from the eastbound San Bernardino (10) Freeway and the northbound Golden State (5) Freeway where they found the victim lying in one of the freeway lanes, CHP Officer Patrick Kimball told City News Service.
The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.
The CHP closed all lanes of the freeways while it investigated the crash.
