SAN PEDRO (CNS) - Firefighters knocked down a contents fire Sunday inside a vacant one-story commercial building in San Pedro.

The 44 firefighters dispatched at 11:35 a.m. to 1316 S. Pacific Ave. had the blaze out within 22 minutes of their arrival, the Los Angeles Fire Department reported.

"Under zero visibility conditions, firefighters made their way through multiple rooms in the building to locate a contents-only fire," the LAFD's Margaret Stewart said.

No injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire was under investigation.
