LOS ANGELES (CNS) - A police pursuit of an allegedly stolen car ended with a crash in the Jefferson Park area Thursday, leaving one person with minor injuries and two suspects in custody.

The chase began around 2:25 p.m. at Normandie Avenue and 23rd Street and ended a short time later when the suspects' vehicle slammed into another vehicle near Arlington Avenue at the San Bernardino (10) Freeway, leaving the vehicle on its side, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

The driver of that vehicle was treated for minor injuries at the scene of the crash.

The two suspects in the allegedly stolen car ran from the scene, prompting police to establish a perimeter in the area. Police said two suspects were later taken into custody.
