LOS ANGELES (CNS) - A person was killed Saturday at a traffic crash involving at least five vehicles on the Santa Monica (10) Freeway in the Jefferson Park community of Los Angeles, authorities said.

The crash occurred about 5:40 a.m. on the eastbound freeway at Crenshaw Boulevard, where a vehicle overturned, the California Highway Patrol reported.

A SigAlert was issued at 6:01 a.m closing the Nos. 1, 2 and 3 lanes of the eastbound freeway for approximately three hours.
