LOS ANGELES (CNS) - Authorities today identified a 15-year-old boy who died in a single-vehicle crash in South Los Angeles.
Firefighters and paramedics were dispatched at 5:50 p.m. Tuesday to 725 W. 92nd St., near Hoover Street, the Los Angeles Fire Department reported. ``Crews located and extracted one patient from under a vehicle, who was sadly determined to be beyond medical help,'' said Margaret Stewart of the Los Angeles Fire Department.
Esquire Hood, from Los Angeles, died at the scene, the Los Angeles County coroner's office reported. Another person was taken to a hospital for treatment of an unspecified injury. The circumstances of the crash were under investigation
