Westminster Police Seek Help Catching Christmas Vandals

WESTMINSTER (CNS) - Westminster police Tuesday asked for the public's help tracking down two men who vandalized Christmas decorations.

One incident happened about 10:05 p.m. Saturday in the 6200 block of Iroquois Road, near Springdale Street. A resident reported hearing a noise outside and saw that their home was egged, Christmas decorations had been vandalized and an inflatable reindeer was taken, police said.

The second incident was about 11:34 p.m. Saturday in the 5700 block of Jones Avenue, near the San Diego (405) Freeway, where decorations were vandalized and an inflatable penguin was stolen from a front yard, police said.

One suspect was a man wearing a black face mask, black-hooded sweatshirt and black pants, and the other suspect was a man also wearing a black face mask, gray sweatshirt and dark-colored pants. They were seen in a newer model, silver, 4-door Toyota Camry with black rims.
