The people you invite to your wedding are most likely friends and family who all know one another and have similar tastes. Then there's that time that six different guests to a wedding all show up wearing the same dress.
According to Debbie Speranza, who is pictured in the photo, all six women arrived to a friend's wedding wearing the same dress from Forever New, an Australia-based clothing brand. And no, they weren't part of the bridal party, and they didn't plan it ahead of time.
Speranza forwarded the photo to the brand's Facebook page saying they ought to start a registry for wedding attendees to make sure they don't all buy the same dress.
You really should start a bridal registry so that your customers can enquire whether anyone else has purchased one of your dresses for the same event 😂 no we are NOT the bridesmaids just the guests. think I deserve a gift voucher for all this advertisement
The white and navy dress proved to be a hit for wedding guests with even the bride saying she was amused.
After the post went viral, people commented on how mortified they would be if they showed up wearing the same thing as five other people
"My worst nightmare haha. Recently packed two dresses just in case," another user said.
Speranza followed up her post saying how much she was enjoying everyone's reaction to the social faux-pas.
“I am laughing so hard at the moment. Cannot believe how many likes (over 10,000) and comments (over 600) for my photo about the dresses at the wedding. Forever New you owe me a gift voucher for the advertisement.”
If you and five friends also want to buy the dress, you can find it on the Forever New website for $160.
