A field reporter's job is never easy, but occasionally the risks of the job are made plain to viewers at home.
That's what happened when Dallas, Texas, news reporter Shannon Murray was out at the DFW airport to cover a labor dispute. An eagle-eyed viewer noticed that during the middle of Murray's report, a large spider began crawling down the reporter's arm. To her credit, Murray didn't even flinch as the eight-legged freak made its on-camera debut.
Viewers of the segment took to the Murray's Facebook page to let her know about her new arachnid co-host.
“For those asking, YES I felt it! But I had no idea it was a spider until a VIEWER let me know on Facebook! EEK,” Murray wrote on the station’s Facebook page.
