People are not happy with the Royal Family's Father's Day post

Father's Day was last Sunday and people all over the world took to social media to show their appreciation for dad.

Even the Kensington Palace joined in and posted a Father's Day collage on Instagram and Twitter. However, despite the thousands of likes people were upset with the exclusion of Charlotte from both posts. Prince Charles, Prince Harry, Prince William and Prince George are front and center but Charlotte is absent.

The caption on the photo is short and simple, saying "Happy Father's Day. Wishing all the fathers out there a very happy day" but people took to Twitter to express their frustration.

Some commentators speculated that there are just fewer images of William holding Charlotte, as Duchess Kate is most often seen holding their daughter. Another Twitter user disproved this theory with a collage of William and Charlotte.

Another commenter pointed out that prince Phillip was also absent from the collage.

Was this a purposeful slight? Or an innocent social media post that was over-analyzed?
