New app aims to take the pain out of parking

Polis Assist is a parking app launching later this month with the hopes of taking the pain out of parking for many SoCal drivers.

Their secret seems to have been a result of collecting tons of data on parking restrictions across 85% of streets covering LA. The information will allow drivers to know in real time how to avoid tickets, expensive lots and spaces and, will also help direct you to available free parking. The app will also track the time and alert you when your meter is about to expire.

The app will cover streets in LA also in Beverly Hills, Santa Monica Culver City and West Hollywood it also has parking info for parts of the valley and Marina Del Rey. They are still working to include the city of Pasadena.

The app is free and for premium subscribers at $1.99 a month they will have access to stored data which will detail their parking habits in the event they need back up support to fight a ticket.
