Bakersfield Man Serving Life In Prison Now Suspected Of Murdering Cellmate


Jamie Osuna was sentenced to life without parole after torturing and murdering a woman in 2011. Now, he's suspected of killing his California state prison cellmate.

According to prison officials, the Corcoran officers found Luis Romero dead on Saturday morning. Osuna is now being held in a restrictive housing unit until investigators know Romero's cause of death.


Osuna plead guilty in 2017 to five charges in the death of 37-year-old Yvette Pena. Her body was found in November of 2011, at the El Morocco Motel.
