This week broadcasting network, CNN, requested an interview with a reporter from the San Diego news station, KUSI, to give them a local view of the southern border, but soon backed out after hearing from the reporter that a barrier is effective, according to the Washington Times.
Of course, this isn't even a little bit shocking to any John and Ken listeners. CNN serves nothing but fake news and is willing to do anything to sell the narrative that America doesn't need President Trump's border wall.
Mike McKinnion, owner of KUSI-TV, issued a statement on Thursday saying CNN placed a phone call to the station's newsroom requesting if any of their reporters would be willing to give them a local view on the national debate regarding the border wall and ensuing government shutdown.
“KUSI offered our own Dan Plante, who has reported dozens of times on the border, including one story from 2016 that was retweeted by former Speaker of the House, Newt Gingrich, and posted on DrudgeReport.com,” McKinnon wrote. "We believe CNN declined a report from KUSI because we informed them that most Border Patrol Agents we have spoken to told us the barrier does in fact work."
That means, KUSI believes CNN declined to bring their reporter on because he told them that most of the Border Patrol agents he had spoken with, are strongly on board with the border wall because the barrier is an effective deterrent.
“We have continuously been told by Border Patrol Agents that the barrier along the Southern border helps prevent illegal entries, drugs, and weapons from entering the United States, and the numbers prove it.” continues Mckinnion in his statement.
Of course, CNN denies these claims. They claim to have called several local stations in the San Diego area, and didn't book any of them.
Who's going to book someone that goes against their fake news narrative?
Kudos to KUSI for exposing CNN for who they really are.
