The homeless camps taking over the Santa Ana riverbed are really getting out of control. Last summer we saw first-hand the camps at the Santa Ana Civic Center, but the camps along the riverbed are something else.
It looks like a third-world shanty town, and it looks permanent. Why aren't these people kicked out? Why are they allowed to stay there? Urine, feces, and drugs are everywhere. There are people who pay good money to live in the apartments and condos nearby, and they have to deal with this mess every day.
It's not right, this should not be tolerated!
