If you're thinking of travelling during the holiday season, Google says that now is actually the best time to book your holiday flights. Usually the beginning of October is the best time to buy some plane tickets for Thanksgiving and Christmas but it's a good time to put on some fare alerts now. And don't forget to use the Google Flight tool! They have a price guarantee on some flights.
The duopoly of Visa and Mastercard are preparing to raise credit card fees. It's an interesting time to do this especially given the new law that would curb credit card companies from raising their fees. These fees at small businesses always get passed on to the customer so that means that you'll be paying more for these purchases. Credit cards are still great for a lot of things, but there are more caveats and exceptions now.
