BEVERLY HILLS (CNS) - The glow of taking home the most awards at the 83rd annual Golden Globe Awards for "One Battle After Another," still radiated Monday for writer-director Paul Thomas Anderson and his dark tale about a group of one-time revolutionaries.

"One Battle" earned four awards and was named Best Motion Picture - Musical or Comedy. It also garnered wins for Anderson for director and screenplay, as well as a supporting actress award for Teyana Taylor for her role as Perfidia Beverly Hills. The comedic thriller with an all-star cast including Leonardo DiCaprio, Benicio del Toro, Sean Penn and Chase Infiniti has emerged as the big-screen darling of this young Hollywood awards season, already capturing three Critics Choice trophies (best picture, director and adapted screenplay) and a record seven nominations for The Actor Awards, formerly known as the Screen Actors Guild Awards. Oscar nominations will be announced Jan. 22.

Sharp-tongued comedian Nikki Glaser hosted the event for a second straight year following her lauded 2025 debut -- and presenters included a long roster of A-Listers including George Clooney, Julia Roberts and Kevin Bacon.

"Hamnet" won two major awards. It took home Best Motion Picture - Drama, and also earned a big screen Best Actress in a Drama award for Jessie Buckley.

On the TV side, "Adolescence" won four awards, taking home Globes for Best Series - Limited Series Or Motion Picture Made For TV, as well as all three acting awards for which it was nominated.

The best small screen series were "The Pitt" in the drama category, and "The Studio" on the musical/comedy side. Both shows also earned their stars coveted Best Actor awards -- Noah Wyle for the former, and Seth Rogen for the latter.

Despite entering the night with a television-leading six Globe nominations, the perennial awards magnet "The White Lotus" left emptyhanded. Also shutout were award-season regulars, "Only Murders in the Building" and "Severance," with each carried four noms heading into the ceremony

This year also featured the Globes debut of the "best podcast" category, in which "Good Hang With Amy Poehler" took home gold.
