Today's Small Business is Cricca's Italian Deli & Subs located in Woodland Hills. Kevin McHenry, owner, his wife of 20 years, Marla join Shannon & Neil to discuss the perfect sub! It had always been a dream of Kevin's to own his own sandwich shop. He had worked for another local deli for 15 years, prior to meeting Marla, and his dream became reality. Now, Kevin runs all operations of the deli day and night, but some days you will see Kevin shining proudly at the front of the house doing what he loves the most, "shaking hands and kissing babies" as he would say, while Marla helps with HR related duties, manages the back office and odd jobs that the business requires while also juggling the household and 2 sons, now 14 and 18. They haven’t changed anything since they took over. Acknowledging and value all of the original recipes from 1969! Cricca's has been at this location since that time and has a strong following that keeps growing daily!
