There may yet be hope for individuals who want to marry in Las Vegas with an Elvis-themed wedding!
Earlier this week, Sin City chapel operators were presented with a cease-and-desist letter. The company said it will halt unauthorized use of "name, likeness, voice image, and other elements."
After cracking down on some Las Vegas chapels, the licensing company that controls Elvis Presley's name and image is reportedly looking to cut a deal, according to CNET.
“We are sorry that recent communication with a small number of Las Vegas based chapels caused confusion and concern. That was never our intention. We are working with the chapels to ensure that the usage of Elvis’ name, image and likeness are in keeping with his legacy,” said guardian of the Elvis Presley legacy.
