The ongoing Covid situation has affected local small businesses and many are struggling to stay open. In an effort to help those small businesses survive, we are featuring them in a segment we call #SmallBusinessShoutout brought to you by SoCal Gas Company.
With our #KFIPastaThon happening right now (you can donate right now at PastaThon.com), our brains are all about pasta, and when this local company recently donated 2,000 pounds of pasta to our event, we were extremely thankful, especially because this is not just any pasta.
It's traditional pasta in every way, just made with a special kind of wheat flour and milled differently by a family in Italy. FiberPasta products have a low glycemic index, they're lower in carbs and high in fiber and protein so diabetics are able to enjoy it!
You can find their products on shelves at Sprouts and Claros Italian Markets in Southern California.
