It's that time again! There are a number of propositions you'll see on the ballot this year, and we'd like to help you understand them better so you can decide for yourself how to vote.
KFI reporter Kris Ankarlo is back with his Propositioned Podcast, where he spends an episode on a single proposition and talks to people on both sides of the issue.
This year there are 12 propositions to wade through. Kris joined us today to start with Prop 14, which okays new bonds for stem cell research.
According to the Legislative Analysts Office, "Proposition 14 allows the state to sell $5.5 billion in general obligation bonds. The bonds primarily would fund additional grants to support research and the development of treatments (including clinical trials) for many diseases."
There's a lot to break down with this one, so listen to Kris' segment from this morning and inform yourself!
