Earlier this week in the Bronx a father was shot while covering his three children from gunfire inside a car dealership. 39-year-old Anthony Jefferson was with his kids to buy a car for his wife as a birthday gift when three men walked up and opened fire on another man inside.
The man inside returned fire and Jefferson was hit three times with shielding his kids from gunfire on the couch they were sitting on. Jefferson was hit twice in his boot and once in his thigh. Thankfully, none of the kids were hurt.
The incredible ordeal was caught clearly on the dealership's security camera. A GoFundMe has been set up for Jefferson to aid with surgery bills from removing the bullet as well as therapy for his children.
