Yesterday KFI News' Steve Gregory played for us a recording of LA County Public Health Director Dr. Barbara Ferrer stating she doesn't expect schools to reopen until after the election.
Ferrer said:
"We don't realistically anticipate that we would be moving to either tier 2 or to reopening K-12 schools at least until after the election."
What did she mean by that? Steve tried to call into LA County's COVID-19 update yesterday, but he wasn't able to get in. Dr. Ferrer did talk about schools in yesterday's news conference, but she was very vague and did not address her comments heard in the recording.
So far this is the only "clarification" we've seen and it's total word salad:
