The world feels more divided than ever, but here's an issue we can all get behind. Lincoln, Nebraska resident Ander Christensen attended a recent city council meeting and had some things to say during the public comment time.
The issue he wanted to bring up? Boneless chicken wings. Apparently Christensen has a big problem with the term 'boneless chicken wing' being applied to an item of food that is not truly a wing.
"Lincoln has the opportunity to be a social leader in this county. We have been casually ignoring a problem that has gotten so out of control that our children are casually throwing around names and words without even understanding their true meaning. We’ve been living a lie for far too long, and we know it because we feel it in our bones.”
Christensen offered up some alternative names like buffalo-style chicken tenders or saucy nugs. We like saucy nugs a lot. In a time where the world is full of chaos, we applaud trivial issues like this.
